だから日本は超長寿大国といわれるのか。。。

ついに１８６歳！文政７年生まれ「戸籍上生存」

　高齢者の所在不明問題で、山口県防府市で２６日、文政７年（１８２４年）に生まれた１８６歳の男性が戸籍上、生きていることになっていることが判明した。

　同県光市で１６５歳の男性、同県周防大島町で１６４歳男性がそれぞれ、戸籍に残っていることもわかった。

戸籍管理っていい加減ですね。戸籍がなくて大変な思いをしている人もいる反面、一旦登録された戸籍は180年経っても特に気にしないんですね。

Somehow there are existing citizenship of dead people in official log of government in Japan. Government have never erase the log of these citizenships even the citizens already past away. Actually, there is 186 years old guy was found who is officially still alive, but of course he already past away many moons ago. This problem is very recently revealed because some families of dead people have been taking social security of them. Probably 186 years old guy is not the case, but there are lots of over 100 years old dead people officially recognized as alive by social security system.
