住みやすい街
世界で最も住みやすい街は、カナダのバンクーバーなんだそうです。バンクーバーは過去5年間ずっと上位5位以内にはいっていて、さらにトロントとカルガリーもそれぞれ4位と5位に入っているようですから、カナダは全体的に住みやすい国なんでしょうかね。
アメリカならピッツバーグ市で、29位なんだとか。日本のまちはランキングにはいっているんでしょうかね？
Survey: Vancouver is world's most liveable city
Three Canadians cities are in the top five on a list of the world's most livable cities, as ranked by The Economist Intelligence Unit.
Vancouver is number one for the fifth year in a row, with Toronto ranks fourth and Calgary is fifth out 140 cities.
Melbourne and Vienna are ranked second and third, respectively.
The British-based group says Vancouver's successful turn at hosting the 2010 Winter Olympics and Paralympics solidified its position in top spot.
The survey looks at 30 categories and the group says the Vancouver Games boosted the city's standing in infrastructure, environment and culture.
But the group notes petty crime is a problem for Vancouver.
The highest American city on the list is Pittsburgh at number 29.
The lowest ranked city is Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe.
