Cha-Cha

　この間、友達のSJのところに遊びに行ったとき、SJがもっている大きな犬のぬいぐるみをもらいました。もちろんYuよりも大きいサイズです。犬種は分りませんが、あの頭がでかくて耳が垂れている茶色いやつです。家に帰ってきてから、この犬の名前はなんていうの？ときくと”チャチャ！”と名づけました。最近は、昼寝するときも夜寝る時も、そのドデカイ犬と一緒に寝ています。

そういえば、Yuは自分のおもちゃ、特に人形に名前をつけるときは一発で決めてしまいます。Tmが子供の頃に使っていた人形をYuに挙げたときにはすぐに”ももちゃん”と名前を決めましたし、SJからもらった犬も何のためらいも無くチャチャに決めました。確かモモちゃんは、絵本に我が家にあるお人形さんそっくりの人形と一緒に寝る女の子が出てくるものがあって、その女の子の名前もモモちゃんでした。こちらは名前のアイディアをここから取ったんだろうと推測がつきますが、今回のSJ犬でもすぐに名前が出てきたので、ちょっと不思議に思いました。いつの間にか色んなところから言葉や名前を覚えているのかもしれません。

Yu named a doll dog given by SJ as Cha-Cha. The dog is quite big size compare to Yu, you know. Nowadays, he sleeps with Cha-Cha every time when he goes to bed in afternoon nap or at night. When he had the dog, we let him name the dog. He immediately decided the name and said "Cha-Cha!".

That's kinda surprising for me. Because he has basically no idea what kind of name he can name. So I expected him to think little a while to make a decision. But he didn't take time at all to determine what name to name the dog. He has another doll which Tm used to use when she was a child. When it was given to Yu, he suddenly named as "Mo-Mo". Since he has story book which has a character of a girl whose name is MoMo, it is understandable why he could decide the doll's name so quick. But it's a different story in this time. I thought Yu had no idea when I let him name. But somehow he named as Cha-Cha. I don't know where it came from. But I guess there are lots of word or name existing in Yu's mind which he picked already from anything in the diary life.
